Computers For All helps Hertfordshire schools transform unwanted laptops, tablets and MacBooks into affordable, fully refurbished ChromeBooks. Every suitable device is never accessed, fitted with a brand new 256 GB SSD and reloaded with the latest Chrome Education OS. The result: fast, reliable, PAT tested laptops ready for pupils, at a fraction of the cost of buying new. Old devices are recycled and re used, and donors can access their old data and memories again in an easy way.
Hassle Free Collections
Donations are collected directly from schools or businesses. We only leave a small, named padded envelope to return each donor's hard drive safely, so nothing personal leaves the building.
FULL Data Security
Devices are not given any power until a new hard drive has been installed. We also include simple self removal instructions as an alternative option, so a donor can keep the original drive.
ChromeBooks Ready To Go
We check, clean and service each device, install a new SSD and load the ChromeBook Teacher or Student OS edition as required, so it arrives ready for a pupil to switch on and use that day.
